A bit about Badger Pundit:
Chronicling farce, folly, and fiasco in progressive politics since the beginning of the “Battle for Wisconsin” in February, 2011, with Gov. Scott Walker at the lead — the true dawn of the “Age of the Honey Badger.” Even Time admits that “the honey badgers are now running the show.”
Work contains occasional hints of having progressed beyond a left-wing Wisconsin public high school education. Fact-checker for the Washington Post. A bit about the Badger Pundit blog:
Opinions on the Badger Pundit blog are mixed. Some view it as predominantly a parodical/satirical humor blog, focused largely on mocking, through exaggeration for comic effect, relatively routine instances of progressives behaving badly. Adherents of this view think they detect, at least on occasion, an effort to turn some of the Left’s key tactics against the Left; for example, Alinsky Rules 4, 5, 6, and 12, here — suggesting an agenda to “attack, attack, attack, attack using their own tactics against them until they learn their lesson“).
Others view it as mostly a political blog, focused largely on documenting, in exhaustive detail, important stories broken by others (often Wisconsin talk-radio hosts). Adherents of this view tend to consider the blog’s comic elements as functioning mainly to pique reader interest in the underlying subject matter.
Whatever opinion of the blog people may hold, readers dipping into it will encounter a fascinating cast of characters who have thrust themselves into the public eye. For example:
The “Badger 14” (Wisconsin Democrat “Flee Party” senators) who in 2011, rather than carry out their constitutional responsibilities, hid out in Harvard, Illinois, leading to the creation of this blog.
The world-famous “Crying Man” — immortalized by Glenn Beck — who made CNN’s 2012 coverage of the Left’s failure to recall Gov. Scott Walker as memorable as the 1937 newsreel coverage of the crash and burn of The Hindenburg. If you only watch one Badger Pundit video, make it this one (embedded above).
